This flood warning remains in force as levels on the River Derwent have risen as a result of rainfall associated with Storm Dennis. The current level at Buttercrambe is 1.5m and will remain high overnight into Monday 17/02/2020. Areas most at risk are properties at Buttercrambe Mill. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring the forecast and our incident room in York remains open. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers which may be flooded and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses.
